Trendinvestor has had a lot of luck in 2022

I made a small adjustment to the Trendinvestor system primarily as a response to the very fast decline experienced at the end of 2018 which led to Trendinvestor booking a large loss, and the COVID decline of March 2020.  It has worked particularly well in 2022 as it moved us into cash relatively close to the top of the first bear market rally, leading to a small but acceptable loss for 2022 so far 

We are now sat in Cash and have been since March 25th, 2022. It is my belief that we have a confirmed Bear market, and these normally last for 2 to 3 years, i suspect that we will remain in cash for the remainder of 2022. However i simply take the signals as and when they are given, it is not possible to "push" the market in any way, it simply is not in a giving mood at the moment, i respect that, which is why we sit here in a cash position. This is a time where it is far better " To do nothing, rather than lose something"

I feel that i was extremely lucky to catch what in hindsight was the first bear market rally, therefore minimising losses, i do not regard this as skill, i regard this as good luck.
